Built in 1997, this boat’s hour meter displays just over 1,900 hours. This reading is due to the replacement of the electronic control unit. The VOLVO D2/40 engine itself is actually 12 years old and has approximately 6,500 operating hours.
The Confort 900 DP is an ideal inland-waterway boat for two couples. It features two separate cabins, with the central saloon between them, ensuring maximum privacy. Both cabins offer generous space, with approximately 2 metres of headroom, and direct access to their own private bathroom.
### Meticulously maintained throughout the season
Our inland-waterway boats are carefully maintained throughout the season. Every winter, they are taken out of the water for a thorough inspection and comprehensive maintenance of the deck and hull, including the application of antifouling.
### What is the annual maintenance budget?
Thanks to their fibreglass hulls, Nicols inland-waterway boats have very low maintenance costs. Their simple, practical and functional design, originally developed specifically for the boat rental business, also helps keep maintenance costs down.
As an owner, you should plan to have the boat lifted out of the water every three to four years. Otherwise, maintenance consists of routine tasks, much like those required for a car, such as oil changes.
