Our inland-waterway boats are carefully maintained throughout the season. Every winter, they are taken out of the water for a thorough inspection and comprehensive maintenance of the deck and hull, including the application of antifouling.<\/p>\n
### What is the annual maintenance budget?<\/p>\n
Thanks to their fibreglass hulls, Nicols inland-waterway boats have very low maintenance costs. Their simple, practical and functional design, originally developed specifically for the boat rental business, also helps keep maintenance costs down.<\/p>\n
As an owner, you should plan to have the boat lifted out of the water every three to four years. Otherwise, maintenance consists of routine tasks, much like those required for a car, such as oil changes.<\/p>\n
